A Pesso Boyden day with Sally Potter
One-day experiential workshops in PBSP offer a rich possibility for personal and professional development and for emotional growth. They are available to clients and to therapists and helping professionals who are:
- ...looking for new perspectives on patterns of personal behaviour
- ...seeking meaning, purpose and a life beyond present unproductive habits
- ...keen to see new ways of deepening therapeutic or coaching practice
- ...eager to experience the benefits of a growing approach to healing and change
A day starts at 9.00am and finishes at 6.00pm. This allows time for some theoretical input and for Sally to demonstrate the approach by leading three or four individual structures or client sessions for volunteers within the larger group. All present come to appreciate how movement toward need-satisfying changes provides pleasure, satisfaction, meaning and connectedness in the human condition.
"I am feeling a huge benefit from the change we achieved together…..it has, without doubt, made a shift in a very pervasive pattern across contexts in my relationships and has changed how I think of being around other people."
"... gentle, but powerful. it helps us to manage the voices that we all have that don't come from our true self, but from learned responses/ behaviour. the work has helped me to free myself of inherited family patterns and dynamics."
"...an affirming system that allows the safe exploration of personal issues. Benefits come not just from being a client because deep learnings are also available from assisting and observing other clients' work."
"It had a strong impact. This was my first experience of Pesso Boyden. Helping with other people's structures was incredibly heart-opening and I felt great unity with the group."
